Corporate Headshots That Don't Look Corporate

Consistent, current, and recognisably a real person.

The phrase “corporate headshot” conjures a grey background and a frozen smile. It doesn’t have to. A good team headshot day produces portraits that look like the actual people, match each other, and don’t need redoing every time someone joins.

Pick one look and hold it

Consistency is the whole point of a team set. We lock the lighting, background, crop and processing once, then run everyone through the same setup. Whether it’s a clean studio background or an environmental look in your actual office, the point is that the CEO’s portrait and the new hire’s portrait belong on the same page.

On-location beats sending everyone out

We bring the studio to you — a portable backdrop and lights in a conference room, or a scouted spot by a window. People rotate through in a few minutes each between meetings. Nobody loses half a day, and the setup stays identical, which you can’t guarantee across multiple appointments at different times.

Wardrobe guidance to send staff beforehand

  • Solid colours; avoid tight patterns and prominent logos
  • Bring one or two options — a jacket and a simpler layer
  • Nothing brand-new with fold creases
  • Whatever you’d actually wear to meet a client
  • Groom as usual; we retouch lightly, not heavily

The schedule

Allow about three to five minutes per person, plus a buffer. A team of forty is a comfortable morning. We share a booking sheet so people arrive in slots, and we can photograph a few “environmental” wider shots of teams working for the website while we’re there.

Delivery and keeping it current

You get a consistent, web-ready and print-ready set through the online proofing gallery, named by person. When someone new joins, we match the exact setup so their portrait drops straight into the existing team page. It’s one more photography service from the studio — not a separate corporate division — and it pairs well with event coverage if you also run conferences or awards nights.
